Each month, OCAAR hosts training series specifically designed for individuals managing non-profit recovery support services and related organizations. These courses offer Continuing Education Units for participants and are hosted by experienced professionals in the related field.

Our advocacy training is available for persons in recovery, friends, family, and other allies.  This training is 2-3 hours long and covers a variety of related information, including; advocacy vs. lobbying, deliberative dialogue, how to tell your story, using your story to make an impact, information about the legislative process, and other ways to get involved.  This training is offered free of service and can be customized to fit the needs of the audience.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
