PEER BOOSTERS

OCAAR is excited to offer Ohio's Recovery Peer Support Booster Program! This 7-module series will equip and empower peers to take their support to the next level! Take one course or take them all and earn 1 CEU Credit for each course. Each day costs $5 to attend.

EXECUTIVE CAPACITY TRAINING SERIES

Each month, OCAAR hosts 2 training series specifically designed for individuals managing non-profit recovery support services and related organizations. The first series is for non-profits that are just starting up. The second is for existing nonprofits. These courses offer Continuing Education Units for participants and are hosted by experienced professionals in the related field.

ADVOCACY TRAINING

Our advocacy training is available for persons in recovery, friends, family, and other allies.  This training is 2-3 hours long and covers a variety of related information, including; advocacy vs. lobbying, deliberative dialogue, how to tell your story, using your story to make an impact, information about the legislative process, and other ways to get involved.  This training is offered free of service and can be customized to fit the needs of the audience.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

OCAAR is able to provide in-depth training on matters surrounding the management of non-profit organizations and recovery services organizations.
